In light of the current situation, Au Collective has created a Relief Fund for individuals who have been financially impacted by COVID-19. If you are someone whose work and income have not been affected during this crisis, please donate now. In difficult times like these, we can choose to come together and support each other in concrete, substantial ways. Thank you!
We can’t do this without you
We want to help you
Dear community,
The COVID-19 coronavirus has created trying times for everyone and these constant shifts have disproportionately threatened the livelihood of those who already exist on the financial margins.
As Au Collective, we are a group of artists striving to uphold the community that has supported us. In an effort to help individuals who have been financially impacted by COVID-19, we have established a need-based relief fund. We welcome relief requests from all and will prioritize helping QTBIPOC, artists, folks in the service industry, people living off of gig-based work, people with dependants, people with disabilities, elderly folks, and families. These funds will have an immediate impact on individuals’ ability to fill basic needs like shelter, food, and medicine.
As living in Seattle and the surrounding areas becomes increasingly expensive, communities who have called this area home for decades are regularly displaced. The same is true in cities around the country. Many members of our community are already living paycheck to paycheck without a cushion or an emergency reserve to see them through unexpected circumstances. We understand these problems aren’t unique to our community, therefore this aid is for anyone in need, anywhere around the world.
Please donate now if you are an individual whose work and income have not been affected by COVID-19. We are reaching out to those with salaried positions, health care, and to anyone who has access to resources that others do not. Through your contributions, we work collectively to help those in urgent need in our communities.
